Which airport for the South of France?
The nearest airport is not always the best one. For the Roussillon, the Aude and even the Hérault, many travellers fly into Barcelona or Girona because those airports have far more routes than Perpignan. Here is how the five airports of the area compare, and what each one means for the last part of your journey.

An airport an hour further away with a direct flight at a good time often beats a closer one with a change or a departure at dawn. Once you have chosen, the transfer is simple: we drive between the Spanish airports and your address in France, in both directions.

What usually works best
- Perpignan and the Côte Vermeille: Girona is about an hour and ten minutes away, Barcelona about two hours and a half. See Girona airport to Perpignan.

Girona-Costa Brava, about 100 km away, has many European routes, especially in summer. Barcelona El Prat, about 205 km away, has the widest choice.
Does Perpignan airport have flights to Spain?
No. Its list of destinations is short; check the official site of the airport for current routes.
Is Girona or Barcelona better for Carcassonne?
Girona is about an hour closer by road. Choose the one with the better flight for your dates; we drive from both.
Can you pick me up at Toulouse or Montpellier airport?
