From El Prat to Perpignan without crossing the city centre
From the airport, your driver takes the ring road around Barcelona to join the AP-7 heading north, so you avoid the city-centre traffic altogether. The motorway passes Girona and Figueres, crosses the border between La Jonquera and Le Perthus, and the A9 then brings you into Perpignan.
Allow about two hours ten minutes for just over 200 km. Evenings and weekends are usually smooth leaving the airport; on weekday rush hours the ring road can add a quarter of an hour.
