Flying from Barcelona or Girona: what time should you leave?

Where do you end up?
Airport, city centre, cruise port or station
Most people travelling from France to Barcelona are heading to El Prat, T1 or T2: we drop you at the departures kerb of the right terminal. If you are going to the city, enter the hotel or the exact address and the driver takes you to the door. Pick-ups are at your address in France, not only at a station or an airport. Write it exactly when you book, and if you are outside the main towns, tell us and we confirm the price for that address before you pay.

The border, the time and what to bring
- Valid ID card or passport for every passenger, children included. Our border guide has the details for minors and pets.
- Allow a margin for the border at Le Perthus and La Jonquera and for traffic at the entrance to Barcelona.
- For a flight, aim to reach the terminal two hours before within Schengen and three hours before long-haul; we suggest the pick-up time from your flight number.
