Flying from Barcelona or Girona: what time should you leave?

The A61, the A9 and the AP-7
From Carcassonne the driver takes the A61 east to Narbonne, then the A9 south past Perpignan to the border at Le Perthus, and the AP-7 to Barcelona. The A9 toll is included in the fixed price. A short break on the way is always possible.
On busy summer Saturdays the A9 can slow down around Narbonne and Perpignan: we take that into account when we suggest your pick-up time.

What the rail journey involves
