The whole A9, from the border to Narbonne
After the AP-7 and the border crossing at Le Perthus, your driver stays on the A9 past Perpignan. The motorway runs alongside the Leucate and Salses lagoons before reaching Narbonne. The total distance from Barcelona is about 255 km.
From Girona airport the distance drops to about 160 km, a little over an hour and a half. A break is always possible on the way, at a motorway service area.
On busy getaway days, especially summer Saturdays, the A9 can slow down around Perpignan and Le Boulou. We factor that into the departure time we suggest, and the price stays the same whatever the traffic.
